Suspended ceilings, especially in basements and offices, are nothing new to most contractors. What isn’t always considered, however, is that there are ceiling tiles available for specific applications or with certain features that set them apart from the standard panels. We’ve listed some types that will better assist you in meeting the specific needs of your clients:
CGC Mars
CGC Mars™ ceiling panels offer a smooth, monolithic look for a modern appearance. With the highest light reflectance of any of the CGC product line, CGC Mars panels help brighten a room while reducing energy costs. If noise levels are a concern for your client, these panels also absorb 75 per cent of sound in a room.
Recommended for: Basements with minimal natural light
CGC Alpine
CGC Alpine™ ceiling panels have non-directional patterns that allow for faster installation. Their ability to resist scuffs and abuse extends the life of the panels, which is a great feature for any jobsite or project.
Recommended for: Family rooms, play rooms and bedrooms
CGC Radar
CGC Radar™ ceiling panels are available in a variety of looks. Their non-directional patterns make for quick and easy installation. They are also available with the Firecode® formulation for use in fire-rated assemblies.
Recommended for: Legal suites or any application where fire retardants are important
